Virginian-Pilot December 25, 1915
The funeral of Benjamin Gates Jameson (sic), who died early yesterday morning at 
his home, 619 Maltby avenue, following a stroke of paralysis which occurred 
Thursday afternoon while he was hunting for Christmas holly in Norfolk county, 
will take place Sunday at 3 p.m. The service will be conducted by Rev. W. H. 
Denison of the Memorial Christian Temple.
He was a native of Georgia, had lived in Norfolk for the past 23 years and was 
highly esteemed. He was a member of the Orinoco Tribe of Red Men and Brambleton 
Lodge, Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his wife and four children, Misses 
Maud, Ruth and Mary Catherine Jameson (sic) and Benjamin G. Jameson (sic), Jr.
