Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, March 16, 2000 
James B. Jamison of the 700 block of C Avenue passed away March 11, 2000, at a
local hospital.

Born in Norfolk County, Mr. Jamison was a retired longshoreman from ILA 1248
after 36 years of service. He was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Erma Jamison; three sons, Isiah Drummond, Allen R.
Anthony and Andre Anthony; three sisters, Ophelia Wilson, Mary A. Hassell-Boyd
and Lavern Jamison-Winfree; a brother, Andrew Jamison; nine grandchildren;
nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was
predeceased by a sister and two brothers.

A funeral will be held at noon Saturday at First Calvary Baptist Church by Dr.
Johnnie L. White. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m.
Saturday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
