Virginian-Pilot  April 5, 1918
Mrs. Saveria Jansale, widow of Francis Jansale, died yesterday afternoon at 2 
o’clock at the residence, 591 Church street, at the age of 76 years. She was a 
native of Italy, but had resided in Norfolk 20 years. She is survived by one 
daughter, Mrs. Frank Colella, of Norfolk; and one son, Charles Jansale, of 
Roanoke. The body will be taken from Oliver’s undertaking apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic church, where the funeral will be 
conducted Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
