Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday May 13, 1943
Franklin Douglas Jarvis, aged 24, died at a Baltimore, Md. hospital Tuesday 
afternoon at 6 o'clock after an illness of two weeks.  He was a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk and was a son of Cecil B. and Emily Hibble Jarvis.  Mr. 
Jarvis resided at 3024 Grandy avenue.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Sergt. Carey Lee 
Jarvis, U.S. Army.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover 
avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
