The Virginian Pilot Thursday February 15, 1962
Mrs. Annie Jarvis of 767 C Avenue. died Tuesday in her home after a long 
illness.
A native of Princess Anne County, she lived in Norfolk 45 years. She was a 
daughter of the late Robert and Mrs. Alice Owens and was a member of First 
Baptist Church, Bute Street.
Surviving are her widower, Simmon Jarvis and two sisters, Mrs. Eva West and 
Mrs. Hattie West of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in 
First Baptist Church Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. E. Paul Simms. Burial 
will be in Calvary Cemetery.
