NORFOLK — Cecil Borum Jarvis, 85, of 149 Commodore Drive, died Sunday in a 
hospital.
A native of Middlesex County, he had been a resident of this area for 60 years. He 
was the husband of Mrs. Emily Kibble Jarvis, a member of Fairmount Park United 
Methodist Church, and had retired from Birtchard Dairy after 50 years.
Besides his widow, survivors include a son, Cary L. Jarvis of Norfolk; a brother, 
Howard P. Jarvis of Richmond; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater 
Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
