NORFOLK — Thomas Carroll Jarvis, 87, of the 5900 block of Glenhaven Crescent, 
died June 24, 1986, in his home.
Mr. Jarvis, a native of Eastville, Va., was a member of Park Place United 
Methodist Church, Owens Masonic Lodge 164, Norfolk Royal Arch Chapter 1, Grice 
Commandry and Khedive Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Turner Jarvis; a daughter, Ann J. Hudgins of 
Norfolk; two brothers, Joseph Jarvis of Norfolk and Braden L. Ball of Pensacola, 
Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery 
by the Rev. Francis E. Collins. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's 
Hospital of the King's Daughters or to the church. Cox Funeral Home is handling 
arrangements.
