Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 2,1924

Mrs. Susan Rebecca Jarvis, aged 63, died early yesterday morning at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. L.M. Jarvis, 183 Hawthorne Avenue, South Norfolk. She was the 
wife of Edmund Jarvis and was a daughter of the late David and Mrs. Fannie Sawyer, 
of Elizabeth City, N.C. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
L.M. Jarvis of South Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral apartments of E. Lee Cox, 402 
Berkley Avenue, tomorrow afternoon  at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk.
