NORFOLK - John Walker Jarvis, 45, of 2717 Ballentine Blvd, died in a Hampton 
hospital Wednesday.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
He was a son of Mrs. Birdie Walker Jarvis of Norfolk and the late Charles W. 
Jarvis Sr.
He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was a veteran of World War 
II.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Charles W. Jarvis, of Virginia 
Beach.
The Office of the Dead will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday at 
7:30 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Christ the King Catholic Church Saturday at 
10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
