CHESAPEAKE—Mrs. Mary M. Jarvis, 64, of 2040 Arbor Road died in a Norfolk hospital 
Wednesday.
She was a daughter of Charles and Mrs. Rose Adeline Moore.
A native of Washington, she lived here most of her life.
Surviving are a son, Steven Jarvis of California; three brothers, James T. Moore 
and Lee C. Moore of Chesapeake, and Leonard Moore of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. 
Mary Ann Wheeler and Mrs. Peter Adams of Norfolk, Mrs. G. W. Jennings of 
Chesapeake, and Mrs. Eva Lafoon of Richmond; and 12 grandchildren.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church for a funeral service today at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
