Talbot and Mrs. Nannie Ackiss Capps, a native of Princess Anne County, a former resident of Norfolk and a resident of Virginia Beach for 22 years, died yesterday at 3:45 p.m. at the residence, Atlantic Avenue and 12th Street, Virginia Beach. She was a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Jarvis Rogers, of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Ackiss Weaver, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Ethel Carswell Hughes, of Virginia Beach; three brothers, W.T. Capps, of Baltimore, T. Lee Capps, of Montreal, Canada and J. Talbot Capps of Kinston, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
