RICHMOND - Thomas Tabb Jeffries, Richmond pharmacist, died Thursday morning in a 
hospital after a short illness.
He was educated at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, and conducted 
a drug manufacturing business here until his retirement 10 years ago. He was the 
husband of the late Mrs. Martha Rex Jeffries of Richmond. His first wife was the 
late Mrs. Lucy Harper Jeffries of Richmond.
Surviving are a son, Thomas Tabb Jeffries Jr. of Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. J. 
Lloyd Hale and Mrs. James Duling of Newport News; and two grandsons.
The body will be brought to Norfolk for burial in Elmwood Cemetery Saturday at 
11 a.m., with a service by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams of Christ and St. Luke's 
Episcopal Church. The family will be at the home of his nephew, Maury Boykin of 
709 Graydon Ave.
