Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, February 13, 1991
Jenette Cora Jenkins of the 1400 block of Proescher St., a retired dietitian,
died Feb. 10, 1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Jenkins, a native of Norfolk, retired from the Norfolk public schools after
30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; United Order of Tents,
Lydia 1; Knights of Peter Claver; Daughters of Norfolk; Court of Calanthe,
Priscilla Court 292; Phyllis Wheatley Circle 1; and Huntersville Senior Citizens
Group. She was the widow of James R. Jenkins.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Clanton of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church by
the Rev. Walter Barrett. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join
the family at the residence. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in the church at noon.
