New Journal and Guide, February 15, 1941
Funeral services for Mrs. Bina Jenkins, who died at her home 800 St. Paul Street,
last Sunday will be held February 9, at the Garrett's Community Church. The pastor,
the Rev. R.K.D. Garrett will officiate. Mrs. Jenkins, a native of Sumter, S.C., came
to Norfolk in 1928 to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Jessie Beasley. Interment
will take place in Calvary cemetery.
