Virginian-Pilot May 13, 1957
NORFOLK — Charles Darius Jenkins, 81, husband of Mrs. Eva Hawkins Jenkins, died at 
a Baltimore hospital Saturday after a long illness. Besides his wife, he is 
survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Isle of Wight County and had been a resident of 
Baltimore for the past 40 years. He was a graduate of William & Mary College and 
was well-known in Baltimore insurance circles.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow at 
4 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
