NORFOLK — Retired Lawyer Charles Edward Jenkins, 83, of 517 Fairfax Ave., a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Wednesday in a hospital.
He was the husband of Mrs. Lee Parks Jenkins.
He was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
A funeral service will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. 
William L. Lumpkin.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
