Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch September 11, 1931
Maj. Coleman Wortham Jenkins, U.S.A., son of Eunice W. and the late John B. 
Jenkins, a native and former resident of Norfolk, died Wednesday at Washington, 
D.C. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anne C. Jenkins, three children, Anne C., 
Coleman W. Jr., and William W. Jenkins, his mother, Mrs. Eunice W. Jenkins, and 
two brothers, John B. Jr., and Charles E. Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held at the residence, 517 Fairfax avenue, Norfolk, 
Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason 
Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be private in Elmwood cemetery. 
Friends are requested to kindly omit flowers.
