Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch February 18, 1916
John W. Jenkins died early this morning, after two weeks' illness, in his fortieth 
year. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Jenkins, was a native of 
Norfolk, and had lived here all of his life. He leaves a brother, George L. 
Jenkins, of Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Smith, of Baltimore, and Mrs. J. 
P. Scellato, of Norfolk. the funeral occurs at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Oliver's 
funeral apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street. Interment in Elmwood.
