Virginian-Pilot June 28, 1924
Miss Kittie Sue Jenkins, aged 73 years, daughter of the late Charles and Mrs. 
Sarah Long Jenkins, died at the residence of her niece, Mrs. W S. Wilkins, 309 W. 
Olney Road, yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock after an illness of eight months. 
Miss Jenkins was born in Woodland, N.C., and had been a resident of Norfolk for 34 
years. She is survived by one sister, Miss Cornelia Jenkins, of Norfolk. The body 
will be taken from the above residence to Elmwood Cemetery for funeral services at 
the grave this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
