Thomas Matthew Jenkins, aged 55, died at 6:40 o’clock yesterday morning in his 
residence, 37 Channing avenue, Cradock. He was the son of Mrs.Clarine Dodd Jenkins 
and the late Thomas Green Jenkins.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Verda Lee Jenkins; a 
sister, Mrs. M. B. Langhorne, of Norfolk; a brother, Judson G. Jenkins, also of 
Norfolk, and numerous other relatives.
Funeral service will be conducted at 4 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, in the funeral 
apartments of Flynn & O’Connor, 816 Court street. Burial will take place in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. It has been requested by the family that flowers be 
omitted.
