Virginian Pilot June 11, 1991

Ruth Worden Jenkins, 87, of the 7300 block of Glenroie Ave., died June 10, 1991, 
in a hospital.
Mrs. Jenkins, a native of Olean, N.Y., was the widow of John B. Jenkins Jr. She 
was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Eunice J. Payne and a son, Charles E. Jenkins II, 
both of Norfolk; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Christ & St. Luke's Episcopal 
Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the church's memorial fund.
