Norfolk - Funeral services were held Wednesday for Thomas Jennings, of 129 W. 
10th street, who died May 31 in a local hospital after a short illness.  The 
Rev. J. L. Kearney officiated at the rites in Hale Funeral Home Chapel.  
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

A native of South Carolina he was the son of Sam Jennings and the husband of 
Mrs. Louise Jennings.

The deceased was a retired Norfolk Naval Base employee.

Besides his father, and widow, surviving are a son, Franklin D. Jennings of 
Norfolk;  a daughter, Miss Gwendolyn Jennings, also of Norfolk;  four brothers 
and two sisters.
