Norfolk - Final rites were held Wednesday for Roosevelt Jennings of Brooklyn, 
NY, at First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
under direction of Riddick Funeral Home.

Mr. Jennings, formerly of Norfolk, was the husband of Mrs. Geraldine Holland 
Jennings and a son of the late Mrs. Emma Brown.  He was a member of First 
Baptist Church, Lamberts Point.

Others surviving are two sons, Edgar Jennings and Derrick Jennings of Brooklyn;  
two brothers, Robert F. Jennings of Norfolk and Zachariah Jennings of Peabody, 
MA;  and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Allen and Mrs. Gerthurine Scales, both of 
Norfolk.
