Virginian-Pilot  March 14, 1915
Mrs. Mary Jennings, widow of Henry Jennings, died Friday night at a local hospital 
after a month’s illness. She was 26 years old, a native of North Carolina and had 
lived in Norfolk three years. She leaves her mother, three children and a sister, 
Mrs. Lola Garren, all of Norfolk, and three brothers, J. H. Williams of Chicago, 
and Noah and Paul Williams, both of Elizabeth City, N.C.
The funeral will take place from the funeral apartments of H. D. Oliver, 610-612 
East Freemason street, this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in St. 
Mary’s cemetery.
