Virginian Pilot Thursday May 4, 1905

The funeral of James Edward, the four and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. 
J.D. Jernigan, who died near Oaklett, Norfolk County, Tuesday morning, after a 
brief illness, was conducted from the family residence, yesterday afternoon at 
3 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Pleasants, pastor of Oaklett M.E. Church, officiating,
The interment was in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
