Jernigan and daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Smith Wright, died early yesterday morning at her residence at Edmond's Corner. She was a native of Laurel, Del. and had resided here for 49 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Sawyer, of Great Bridge and three sons, James L, Norman T. and Horace F. Jernigan, all of this section; two brothers, Herman L. Wright, of Norfolk County and Thomas J. Wright, of Cherry Creek, N.Y. and two sisters, Mrs. J.S. King, of South Norfolk and Mrs. Marion Real, of Edmond's Corner and four grandchildren. She was a member of the South Norfolk Baptist Church and Goodwill Council No. 5 D. of A. The body was removed to the J.R. Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake Avenue, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
