DEATHS
JERNIGAN - At the family residence, 80 Jackson street, South Norfolk, Friday 
morning, September 12, 1919, at 10:40 o'clock, MRS. BALZORA ANN JERNIGAN, widow of 
Starkey Jernigan and daughter of the late Lawrence and Mrs. Catharine Myers, 
Bertie county, North Carolina, aged 67 years.
The funeral was conducted at the above residence THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 
o'clock. Burial in Elmwood cemetery.
