Norfolk Journal and Guide, Aug 4, 1962
Herbert Jeter, 71, of 1355 Providence street, was given funeral services Sunday
at the House of Prayer for All People on Church street.  Elder J. Williams
officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in
charge.

Mr. Jeter was a native of Crewe, VA, and a member of the House of Prayer.  He
was a member of James P. Carter Masonic Lodge and Eureka Lodge, Norfolk.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virgie Jeter;  one brother, Linwood Jeter, and
a sister, Mrs. Maggie Taylor, both of Baltimore.
