Virginian Pilot March 29, 1904    

JETT - At the Protestant Hospital Monday morning, March 28th, 1904, ELIZA J., 
beloved wife of D.W. Jett, aged 51 years.
The funeral will take place from the funeral apartments of H.C. Smith, 179 
Bank street, TUESDAY, March 29th, at 11 a.m.  Friends and acquaintances 
respectfully invited to attend.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Eliza J. Jett, wife of Mr. D.W. Jett, whose death 
occurred at the Norfolk Protestant Hospital Monday, was held from the funeral 
apartments of Mr. H.C. Smith, 179 Bank Street, at 11 o'clock yesterday morning.  
The service was conducted by the Rev. W.C. Vaden, pastor of Denby's Methodist 
Church, Norfolk County.  The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
