Dock Johnson - Funeral services for Mr. Johnson, 805 Whitehead avenue, were held
Monday, April 10, at New Central Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the pastor, the
Rev. W. P. Westbrook, officiating.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bettie Johnson; five sons, Messrs. L.
M. “Zip” Johnson, Sandy, Mercell, Harold, and Claiborne Johnson; one daughter,
Miss Geraldine Johnson, New York City; two sisters, Madams Elnora MacDonald and
Lethia Jones, and other relatives.
Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Chatman Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
