A funeral service was held Sunday at Garrett’s Community Church for Mrs. 
Daisy Johnson, 70, of 781 Avenue C, who died at a nursing home on Oct. 20.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Currituck, NC, and was the daughter of Mills 
Reed and Mrs. Martha Reed, and widow of Lee Johnson.

A member of Garrett’s Church, she had lived in Norfolk 60 years. Her eulogy 
was delivered by the Rev. J. A. Askew, pastor of Garrett’s. Burial was in 
Calvary Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Lewis; a cousin, Mrs. Helen Cox.
