Norfolk - Funeral rites for Johnnie M. Johnson, 76, of 3000 Hollister avenue 
were conducted Jan. 26 in First Church of Christ. The Rev. David P. 
McPherson officiated. He died Jan. 24 in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Lois Johnson and a son of 
Johnnie and Mrs. Lucy Johnson.

He was a member of First Church of Christ and a retired employee of Ballard 
Oyster Company.

Besides his wife, surviving is a stepson, Henry Freeman of Norfolk.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
