Olney Road died Wednesday in a hospital after a short illness. A native of Tillery, N.C., he was a son of the late Mrs. Tempie Johnson. He was an assistant cook at the Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Tempie Jones and Mrs. Mary L. Eason of Philadelphia, Mrs. Jaddie Pope of Tillery and Mrs. Pearline Barrett of Suffolk; and three nephews, Clister Field Johnson, Ossie Johnson and Stephen Johnson of Philadelphia. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
