Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 18,1967

Norfolk - Joseph C. Johnson, 90, of 2702 Beachmont avenue, who died Feb. 14 in a 
hospital, will be given final rites Saturday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Lebanon Baptist 
Church.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.

A native of St. Louis, MO, he lived here since 1904.  He was a member of Mt. 
Lebanon Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Saunders Johnson;  a son, Milton Johnson;  
two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mullings and Mrs. Clarice Robinson;  seven 
grandchildren;  and three great-grandchildren, all of New York.
