Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, January 3, 1991 
Laura Collins Johnson, of the 5900 block of Poplar Hall Drive, died Dec. 26,
1990, in her home.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Edenton, N.C., was a member of C.H. Mason Memorial
Church of God in Christ. She was also a member of the Emma Bobbitt Midrise Civic
League.

Survivors include a brother, William H. Collins of Bronx, N.Y.; two
grandchildren, Kurtis Witcher and Freda Doyle, both of Norfolk; and two
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in C.H. Mason Memorial Church of
God in Christ by the Rev. David B. Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery
. Friends may join the family at 1 p.m. Friday at 6342 Glenoak Drive, Apartment
2, for funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
