Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 24,1962
Wells Johnson, 81, of 706 Wide street, who died Feb. 12 was given final rites 
Sunday at Antioch Baptist Church.  The Rev. J. W. Matthews officiated at the 
service.

Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery under direction of Citizens Funeral Home.

A native of Tillery, NC, Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lelia Johnson;  
nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
