Virginian Pilot October 28, 1993

Leon O. Johnson of the 400 block of E. Brambleton Ave. died Oct. 25, 1993, in a 
local hospital.
Mr. Johnson was born in Norfolk. He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church 
and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Essia Peel Johnson of Norfolk; a sister, Shirley 
M. Thomas of Norfolk; a brother, David C. Johnson of Norfolk; and three nephews, 
Milton Snead of Petersburg and David C. Snead and Kirk Snead, both of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. 
Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Family and friends will 
assemble at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Friday for the service.
