Norfolk - Willie E. Johnson, 70, of 733 Roswell avenue was given last rites in 
Metropolitan AME Church recently.  Dr. Richard A. Council officiated.  Mr. 
Johnson recently died in a local hospital.

Born in Fayetteville, NC, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnson and 
the husband of Mrs. Lillie S. Johnson.

He was retired from the Army Depot in St. Julians Creek and a member of the 
senior choir of the Metropolitan Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers, Alvin Johnson, Henry 
Johnson and Colen Johnson, all of Fayetteville.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
