Norfolk - Mrs. Laura B. Johnson of 956 Norchester street died in a hospital 
recently.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of George and Mrs. Ola Person Budd and 
the wife of J. C. Johnson.

She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and Pioneer Social and Savings 
Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Miss Delores A. Fallias 
of New York City and Mrs. Cynthia Crawford of Ft. Bliss, TX;  four sisters, Mrs. 
Arvetta Phillips of Norfolk, Mrs. Alma B. Parker of Washington, Mrs. Wilhemina 
Cain of Compton, CA, and Mrs. Doris Chula of Zweibrueken, Germany;  three 
brothers, George L. Budd of Chesapeake, Melvin and Chester Budd of Norfolk;  
three grandchildren;  five aunts;  and two uncles and a host of cousins.

A funeral service was held in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by the Rev. F. P. Wise 
with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Graves Funeral Home was in charge.
