Norfolk - Lee Johnson of 1304 Oakmont place died in Guardian Care Nursing Home, 
Portsmouth.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Ben and Mrs. Lucy K. Johnson and the 
husband of the late Otelia Johnson.

He was a 40-year retired employee of Creekmore Cleaners and a member of First 
Baptist Church, Bute Street.

He is survived by two sons, Alfred Johnson and Lee Johnson of Norfolk;  a 
daughter, Mrs. Hazel Peterson of Portsmouth;  a brother, Archie Johnson of the 
Bronx, NY;  a sister, Mrs. Rosa Lee of Philadelphia;  14 grandchildren;  and 24 
great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in First Baptist Church, Bute street, by the Rev. E. 
Paul Simms.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Riddick Funeral Service was in 
charge.
