Norfolk - A funeral service was conducted Sunday in St. Thomas AME Zion Church by 
the Rev. G. M. Scott for Mrs. Cora Johnson of 1728 Vine street, who died Jan. 11 
in a hospital after a short illness.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale 
Funeral Home in charge.
The Norfolk native was a daughter of George A. and Mrs. Martha S. Williams and 
the widow of Walter Johnson.  She was a missionary of St. Thomas AME Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Grace Stokley and a nephew, James Shamblin, both of 
Norfolk;  and two nieces, Mrs. Vandora Myrick of Baltimore and Mrs. Gladys 
Southall of Norfolk.
