Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 22,1965
Norfolk - Final rites for Babe Johnson of 1704 Godfrey avenue, who died May 10 
in a hospital, were held in Riddick Funeral Chapel Sunday by the Rev. Lawrence 
J. Smith.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

A native of Atlanta, he was a son of George Johnson and Mrs. Josephine Johnson 
and the husband of Mrs. Ruth Johnson.  He worked in Keeper Coal Mines, Keyser, 
WV.

Besides his widow, surviving is a daughter, Miss Miriam Priscilla Johnson of 
Norfolk.
