Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday October 3, 1943
Lee Columbus Johnson, 46, of 921 Lafayette avenue, South Norfolk, died yesterday 
morning at 8:20 o'clock in a Norfolk hospital after an illness of one week.
A native of Norfolk, he had lived here all his life.  He was the son of the late 
James C. and Minnie Lacey Johnson and husband of Mrs. Grace Etheridge Johnson.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John W. Bozeman and Miss 
Shirley Johnson, both of South Norfolk; and one sister, Mrs. H.W. McPherson, of 
South Norfolk.  He was a member of the South Norfolk Lodge No. 839, A.F. & A.M.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, 
South Norfolk.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock 
at the residence.  Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
