Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, April 21, 1992 
Ada Glendora Cherry Johnson of the 1300 block of Hanson Ave., died April 18,
1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Hilton G. Johnson. She was
a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include two stepsons, James A. Johnson and Hilton G. Johnson III, and
a sister, Bettie C. Billup, all of Norfolk; and a brother, Vincent Cooke of San
Diego, Calif.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bethlehem Baptist Church by
the Rev. L.P. Watson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be
placed in the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The family will assemble at 1364
Hanson Ave. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
