Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 14, 1991
William Payne Johnson Jr., 54, of the 700 block of W. 34th St., died Feb. 
11, 1991, in a nursing home.
Mr. Johnson, a native Virginian, was employed with Norfolk & Western 
Railway.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Johnson; two sisters, Maurice C. Johnson 
of Norfolk and Mary Dooley of Philadelphia; and three brothers, Alvin G. 
Johnson of Oxon Hill, Md., and Walter Johnson and Fenton Johnson, both of 
Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Twilight Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Willert Pretlow. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may 
join the family at 1110 Park Ave., Apt. B, and will assemble there at 10 
a.m. Friday for the procession.
