NORFOLK - Cleona Howard Greene Johnson of the 500 block of Maryland Ave. died March
9, 2010 in a local hospital. She was born in Norfolk. 

After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School, she traveled to New York
City where she studied nursing and practiced it for 40 years. She retired in 1980
and returned to Norfolk to live. 

She is survived by two sons, Harold O. Greene Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Robert
Greene of Norfolk; a daughter, Jenny Snipes of Brooklyn; two sisters, Lillian D.
Stuart of Norfolk and Jean L. Howard of New York City; a host of nieces and nephews
and many relatives and friends. 

Her funeral will be held Monday, March 15, 2010, at Greater Metropolitan AME Zion
Church at 10 a.m.
