NORFOLK - Fletcher Elmer Johnson of 882 Vick St., the husband of Mrs. Clarine R. 
Johnson and a native of Ivor, died Wednesday in his home.

He was retired from the National Maritime Union after 25 years. He was an Army 
veteran of World War II and was a Baptist.

Other survivors include a foster daughter, Mrs. Lenora Miller of Norfolk; six 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Chapel with burial in 
Calvary Cemetery.
