The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, July 23, 1968

NORFOLK - Bernard C. Johnson of 1237 W. 41st St. died Saturday in a hospital.

He worked for Mitchell & Smith. A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Mrs. Inez 
Johnson and the late David Johnson.

Besides his mother, surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Ruth James, Misses Barbra 
Johnson, Janice Johnson, Dianne Johnson, and Sharon Johnson of Norfolk, and Mrs. 
Agatha Johnson of Brooklyn; and four brothers, Melvin Hosch of Norfolk, David 
Johnson Jr., Pernell Johnson, and Reginald Johnson of New York.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Funeral home with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery.
