NORFOLK - Abraham Johnson of 2732 Beachmont Ave. died Wednesday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Willie Anna Johnson. He retired 
from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard after 31 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion 
Church of God Holiness.

Besides his widow, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Annie Broughton of 
Patterson, N.J.; a son, William P. Johnson of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Harriett 
Wood of Norfolk; and three brothers, George Johnson, Steven Johnson, and Johnnie 
Johnson, all of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Zion Church of God Holiness by 
Elder J.D. Burrus. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home has 
charge.
