NORFOLK - Alvin L. Johnson of 1342 Anne St. died Thursday in a hospital.

He was a native of Norfolk and the husband of the late Nannie Johnson. He had 
retired from the maintenance department of Hague Towers after 15 years and was a 
former member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Zenobia Poyner of Norfolk, a niece, and three 
nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. 
Oliver Welsh. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family will be at his sister's home, 2930 Tait Terrace, Norfolk.
